This is definitely a resource a child can use to learn and practice. I appreciate the book provides wonderful guidance and great instructions for children. A great resource for a teacher, parent, or caregiver to assist a child in learning math. The use of showing numbers by using tracing number font was a smart idea! Plus, activities range from fractions, circling a number of items in a section, coloring their cute cartoons, to providing a visual cue to help children add or subtract numbers (which as a teacher is soooooo refreshing to see). This is also a book that will take some time to complete which I like. For sure your child will not go through each page within a few days and can still work on different activities that are in the sequential order of difficulty or the appropriate process of introducing the numbers, how to count them, and other visual assistance with manipulatives as they learn (which is another teacher-approved bonus point). The book is one of the best math resources I have seen to teach a child numbers 0-10 and how to add and subtract. A great price for a teacher and parent budget! Asked for me to show her subtraction because they have not got to it in school yet and WOW she got it and then tried to do all the pages with addition and subtraction. The images are current, my l year old colors on every page. My 4 year old is so excited he's excelling in addition. This workbook gets straight to the point which I like.
